Learning Japanese Through The Internet

Foreword

Hello, everyone! My name is Moon, Young Joon. I am from Korea, so please forgive my broken English. I am a graduate student of the Electrical Engineering Department at The Ohio State University.

As engineering student, I can easily access new technology. Due to that fact, , I could boost my Japanese level in a relatively in short time. What? Are you asking me how much is a relatively short time?

O.K. Let's look at it this way. One year ago, I could read one Japanese newspaper article in 5 hours using with dictionaries by traditional methods. Why dictionaries? I need dictionaries such as the KANJIJISHO to look up KANJI (Chinese character) and a WAEIJITEN to find out the meaning of the word.

Whew! You know, that was tough for me. I almost gave up on Japanese. However, after using the Internet to read Japanese newspapers, I can read what once took me 5 hours to read in only a scant 3 minutes.

You might be saying, "You're kidding me!" If you can't believe that I could do this, I strongly recommend that you read this manual thoroughly.

So let's find out how I did it!
