2. How to access to Internet.

2.1) For OSU students who use public site computers [UTS].

If you are a home user, then skip this section and read subsection 2.2)

As you can see this [Fig.1], you have to enable network access before using Internet. If you click that icon on [Fig.1], then you will see [Fig.2]. Please follow what it says.

Now, you are on the Net. Please enjoy you adventure.

2.2) If You are a Home User

Before move on, you'd better to install IE5.0 and Global IME to type and read Japanese. You can use Netscape preview version 6.0 and Global IME. However, I suggest to use IE until releasing real version of Netscape 6.0.

Whatever operation systems, Windows 95, 98, NT and NT 2000. You can use IE5.0 and Globle IME, which is provided by Microsoft for free.

If you don't have it please download and install before further reading this manual!!!

Please get these first!


If you installed and reboot you computer, then please access to the Internet whatever method you usually use.

Now, you are also all set~!
