How can I import Genbank sequence entries? Top
A:
Just copy Genbank HTML page then paste it into the Tag frame.
- Press 'Ctrl + A' to select all contents in the GenBank Page.
- Press 'Ctrl + C' to copy the selected contents.
- Press 'Ctrl + V' to paste into the Tag frame(Tag frame must be activated at that time!!).
- Selecte the format of the contents to be pasted.

Some files are too large to be opened. Can I retrieve data selectively from those files? Top
A:
Both jPHYDIT file and fasta file could be scanned for retrieving data selectively.
- Go to Data->Import menu and select format of a file to be scanned.
- Choose file.
- Input entry name or strain name that you want to retrieve.
Q:
Can jPHYDIT execute external programs? Top
A:
TreeView, Mega3.0 et al. can be executed.
- Go to File->Option. There are two tabs for configuring options.
- Choose Program tab.
- Input path for each program.
¡ØCaution : Some external programs are platform dependent. Please install compatible program with your operating system.
