Abstract:
American business is seeing the emergence of a new world with shifting paradigms for the
company and the job. The
concept of communication is shifting, too. The new communicator's task is to process and
channel the right information so
that it reaches the right people at the right time in the right way. In today's organization,
everyone needs to know all the
information they need to do their jobs properly. There can be no secrets. Communicators must
be the eyes and ears of
the new organization, implementing communication channels to find out where workers need
development, training and
information, and then seeing that management is plugged in so they take action.
