Abstract:
The aim of the act of communication is to identify the significance of communication skills
for purchasing and supply
professionals. Communication is even more important now for a number of reasons. First a
negative, or preventive,
reason. In a buying or selling organization, much time-wasting and expensive conflict and
confusion can be avoided by
effective communication. Communication is also part of image building. Professionals along
today's supply chain, between
the customer and the manufacturer, need to communicate effectively because of 3 principle
reasons. The reasons are: 1.
to contribute significantly to their organization's prosperity, 2. to enhance their own job
satisfaction by having satisfied
customers and well-informed staff, and 3. to survive in
