กกResearch ObjectiveThe research objective of CMC is to investigate basic mechanisms of catalysis at the molecular level and thus to design and synthesize new biological, biomimetic, inorganic, photochemical and electrochemical catalysts. A catalyst is a substance that takes part in a chemical reaction, speeds it up, but itself undergoes no permanent chemical change. Through the use of catalytic processes, one can convert a variety of substances into other useful substances that can meet such diverse societal needs as food production, energy conversion, environmental protection, and health care.By organizing and conducting cooperative research among scientists from diverse fields of chemistry, CMC intends to become an international center for the basic research of molecular catalysis. CMC is also carrying out joint research programs with fine-chemical and biotech industries. Through these basic and practical trainings, CMC will contribute to the education of young scientists who will play key roles in the scientific community and industry. กก |
